CPD Programmes
Welcome to my CPD school training sessions, where we delve into the emotional underpinnings of classroom dynamics. Through a psychoanalytic lens, we explore insights that go beyond the cognitive and behavioural aspects that are more typically covered in teacher training programmes.
Classroom teachers and support staff are all aware of the impact that challenging classroom behaviour and complex learning requirements, especially those which seem not to conform to typical special needs criteria, can have on the supportive educational environment that they are trying to create. Our aim is to enhance the classroom experience for teachers and support staff, and to foster a nurturing and creative environment that maximises students' emotional wellbeing and academic potential.
Subject Specialisms
English Language & Literature
I offer personalised one-to-one and small group tutoring to support school staff and enhance student attainment through a range of in-school or online initiatitives, such as stretch and challenge programs for more able students, and revision sessions, aligning with the AQA and Edexcel exam boards.
Religious Studies
Specialising in the AQA and OCR specifications for Religious Studies, I am able to provide one-to-one and small group tuition tailored to meet the needs of students in schools and sixth form colleges. Revision methods and the construction of reasoned analysis form the core of my approach.
